Shiatsu works on pressure points with thumbs and palms, in rhythm, along the lines of the body. It is done fully clothed on a mat or the bed, so it suits anyone who doesn't want oil, and people who sit at a laptop all day often find it reaches the neck and lower back better than a lighter massage.

Ubud is jungle villas, rice terraces and early yoga, with treatments brought to your door instead of the other way round.
