Slower than a Balinese massage, with elbows and forearms working into the muscle rather than across it. Expect it to be uncomfortable in places; your therapist will check the pressure and back off when you say so. Best for stiff shoulders, tight hips and lower backs that have spent too long in a scooter seat.
