Hot stone massage in Ubud, wherever you're staying

Smooth stones are heated in a water bath and used as part of the massage, gliding along the back and resting on the shoulders while the therapist works elsewhere. The heat loosens muscles faster than hands alone, so the pressure can stay moderate. Lovely on a wet evening in January when the villa never quite feels dry.

Ubud is jungle villas, rice terraces and early yoga, with treatments brought to your door instead of the other way round.
